Chicago, IL
(Redirected from West Pullman, IL)
Chicago is the third largest city in the United States, located in northern Illinois, on the western shore of Lake Michigan, 90 miles south of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Chicago is one of two cities, along with Boston, MA, to have hosted major league baseball without interruption since the foundation of the National League in 1876; in its case, the city's first major league team, the Chicago White Stockings, is the direct ancestor of today's Cubs. The city did miss a couple of years when the National Association was in activity, in the aftermath of the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.
Traditionally, the Cubs represent the north side of Chicago, while the White Sox represent the South side. Chicago's nickname is "the Windy City".
