Biographical Information[edit]
Fern Battaglia was an infielder for two years in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. She hit .204/~.284/.244 for the development teams, the Springfield Sallies and Chicago Colleens in 1950. In 1951, she batted .167/~.242/.183 for the Battle Creek Belles after moving up to the AAGPBL's top level. Her overall batting line was .197/~.276/.232. After her playing career ended, she was a Chicago public schools teacher.
