Chicago Colleens
Championships: 0
Playoffs: 0
The Chicago Colleens were an expansion team in the 1948 AAGPBL. While they played in the largest city in the league's history, they were a very unsuccessful group, going just 47-77 to finish last in the eastern division. As a squad, they hit just .180. They were managed by Dave Bancroft. In 1949 the team became a touring development team (i.e. a minor league team for the entire league, alongside the Springfield Sallies), then dissolved entirely by 1951.
