Biographical Information[edit]
Jack Kading played quite well for the 1910 Pirates, hitting .304 and slugging .478 in eight games. He had played for Eau Claire in 1909 and most of 1910, and would go back there for most of 1911. A source says that he then was a "printer athlete" (presumably working in the printing business and playing for a company team) before being signed to play for the Chicago team of the Federal League in 1914. He also played in the Canadian League in 1914.
