Biographical Information[edit]
Phil Rizzo played for a handful of minor league teams from 1951 to 1956. After his playing days, he was a longtime scout, responsible for signing Brandon Webb, Bob Wickman, Mike Matheny, Mark Loretta, and others. From 2009 until his death, he was special advisor to his son, Washington Nationals General Manager Mike Rizzo.
