Biographical Information[edit]
Ray Wolf, although born in Chicago, IL, attended Texas Christian University from 1925-27 and made his major league debut (and only appearance) on July 12, 1927. He played two innings at first base and had one plate appearance. Also in 1927 and 1928, he played some games for the Columbus Senators and the Moline Plowboys. According to Wikipedia (retrieved July 15, 2019), he returned in 1928 to get his college degree, and thereafter had a career as a football coach, baseball coach (TCU, 1935-1936) and athletic director.
