Biographical Information[edit]
Johnny Gottselig was a left winger, primarily for the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks. He had 176 goals and 371 points in 590 games from 1926-1945. He also coached in the NHL for six seasons.
In baseball, Gottselig was a manager in the AAGPBL. He guided the Racine Belles in 1943-1944, the Peoria Redwings in 1947 and the Kenosha Comets in 1949-1951.
