Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher/1st Baseman Matt Serafini was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 43rd round of the 2001 amateur draft, in the same round as pitcher Jason Vargas and ahead of catcher Clint Sammons. He played just 4 games above Rookie level ball, slashing .258/.316/.414 with 13 home runs, 60 RBI and 54 runs scored in 103 games over two seasons.
