Biographical Information[edit]
Irv Medlinger pitched 9 games in the majors.
He went to Lane Technical High School. The Oswego Palladium-Times of September 9, 1947, says he was the "strikeout artist" for the Oneonta Red Sox. The same paper on November 11, 1948 says he went 10-5 for the Birmingham Barons and Scranton Red Sox.
Baseball in Richmond has him with the Richmond Virginians in 1954 and 1955.
He died in 1975 in the crash of a private plane in Wheeling, IL due to engine failure. source
