Baseball players who died in plane crashes. At least three were in the military (Gedeon in combat, Southworth and Goodwin in training) and three were on commercial airliners (Chavez, Hooker, and Peete). Most were in private planes, all except Clemente in "small" planes. The identity of the pilot is not always known, but pilots include Gastall, Hubbs, Munson, Wagner, Dunn and probably Lidle.

Additionally, Len Koenecke was killed on a plane, but not in a crash. John Altobelli and Roberto Bissonnette died in a helicopter accident.
