Biographical Information

Lew Post had a cup of coffee in the majors with the 1902 Detroit Tigers. He was put in three games in a period of two days - a doubleheader on his first day. In each case, he batted sixth in the order.

After his baseball career, he was an elevator operator in a Chicago hospital for many years.
