Otto Krueger played in the majors from 1899-1905 and in the minors through at least 1912. He played 193 games in the majors at third base and 193 at shortstop. He also played 67 games in the outfield (mostly in left field) and 17 games at second base.
His major league debut was with the legendarily-bad 1899 Spiders, for whom he played 13 games. In 1900 he hit .400 in 12 games with the 1900 Cardinals, paving the way for him to become a regular in 1901 with the team and lead the league in games played.
