Biographical Information[edit]
Ed Hughes made his debut with the Chicago White Sox in 1902 as a catcher, and then came back with the Boston Americans in 1905 and 1906 as a pitcher. Cy Young was the big-name pitcher on the Boston teams at the time.
He is the brother of Tom Hughes.
