Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Como Cotelle played 21 years in the minors, posting a career average of .323. He won the Mississippi Valley League batting title with a league record .407 average with the Davenport Blue Sox in 1933, while scoring 106 runs and stealing 31 bases. He then went on to play for the Indianapolis Indians, hitting .300 in 1934 and .320 in 1935.
Over the course of his career, Cotelle hit over .300 17 times and amassed 2,730 hits.
