Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Hechinger played four games for the Chicago Cubs in 1912 and 1913, and nine games for the Brooklyn Superbas in 1913. In all, he had 18 plate appearances, getting two hits and two walks. In the field, he played catcher.
Mike was born, and died, in Chicago, IL. After his major league experiences, he played in the International League in 1914-1915.
A biography of Mike states that he played in the Wisconsin-Illinois League in 1912. He also played semi-pro ball and served in the military (time and branch unspecified in the article). [1]
