Biographical Information

Hank Stram was a college coach better known for his work in football.

After serving in World War II, Stram coached for several colleges. He was head baseball coach at Purdue University, his alma mater, from 1951-1955, going 53-58-2. He won the most games in American Football League history and took the Kansas City Chiefs to Super Bowl I and Super Bowl IV (winning the second time). He won AFL titles in 1962, 1966 and 1969. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
