Biographical Information[edit]
Beginning in 1946, toward the end of his minor league playing career, Art Doll managed several minor league teams, including the 1946 Tallahassee Pirates, the 1947 Hornell Maples, the 1948 Salisbury Pirates, and the 1949-50 Fargo-Moorhead Twins. The only one of the teams which finished above .500 were the Tallahassee Pirates, whose season record was a resoundingly mediocre 63 wins and 62 losses.
