Biographical Information

Lu Fyfe was an umpire in the Federal League in 1915, its final season, and for a few games in the National League in 1920. He began his umpiring career in the Western League in 1914, then was in the Central League from 1916 to 1918. In 1919, he was in the Michigan-Ontario League before being called up by the N.L. In May of 1920, he was returned to the minors and returned to the Mint League until 1924. In 1925, he joined the staff of the International League, staying until 1929, then finished his career with a season in the Three-I League in 1930.
