Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Hank Paskiewicz played in the minor leagues from 1949 to 1951 and from 1954 to 1956. After posting pedestrian numbers in the Chicago Cubs system (1949-1951), he came into his own in the high-offense West Texas-New Mexico League in 1954. He joined the Clovis Pioneers that year, with whom he would remain for the rest of his career. In 1954, he hit .316/.352/.507 with 19 home runs, 107 RBI and 124 runs scored in 132 games. The next year, he hit .330/.377/.491 with 16 home runs, 96 RBI, 202 hits, 41 doubles and 134 runs scored in 139 games. In 1956, his final campaign, he hit .311/.365/.476 with 19 home runs, 102 RBI and 114 runs scored in 140 games.

He also managed Clovis for part of the 1956 campaign, replacing Frank Benites and being replaced by Red McQuillen. The team went 1-11 under his leadership.

He served in the Korean War.
