Biographical Information[edit]
Herb Juul pitched one year for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a dozen or so years in the minor leagues and/or semipro ball, and had a cup of coffee with the 1912 Cincinnati Reds. He was a World War I Veteran. He was the director of Republican Headquarters in a Chicago Ward for the 1928 election. He died at age 42 following surgery for gallstones and is buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
His younger brother Harry Juul also had a brief major league career, and his father, Neils Juul, was a Congressman from Illinois.
