Biographical Information[edit]
Following his baseball career, Deacon Donahue was a movie theatre projectionist in the Chicago area for 40 years. He had a brief stint with the Philadelphia Phillies and appeared in eight relief appearances for the club, posting an 0-2 win to loss record with a 6.75 earned run average, allowing eleven runs (ten of which were earned), twenty two hits, three walks, and striking out three hitters over the course of his 13 and a third innings pitched.
