Biographical Information[edit]
Gerry Arrigo pitched two one-hitters in his career. The first came on June 26, 1964, as a member of the Minnesota Twins against the Chicago White Sox. The only hit was a single by Mike Hershberger in the top of the 9th inning. The second was on April 29, 1967, as a member of the Cincinnati Reds against the New York Mets. The only hit in that game was a 1st-inning single by Jerry Grote. He also threw a two-hitter on May 4, 1968, playing for the Reds against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
