Biographical Information[edit]
IF/OF Jeff Carter was drafted in the 9th round of the 1985 amateur draft by the San Francisco Giants. He spent 12 years in the minors, including 7 at AAA.
In 1997-1998 he was a coach for the Fort Wayne Wizards and in 1999 he coached the New Britain Rock Cats. In 2000 he began his managing career with the Elizabethton Twins. Carter was a coach for New Britain in 2004 and for the Fort Myers Miracle in 2005. In 2007, he became skipper of the Ogden Raptors.
