Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Dennis Kissane played in the minor leagues from 1964 to 1968, mostly in the Chicago White Sox system. In 71 games (49 starts), he was 17-23 with a 3.53 ERA. He had 388 strikeouts, 232 walks and only 278 hits allowed in 337 innings of work.

His best year came in 1965 with the Clinton C-Sox. In 18 games (15 starts), he went 5-8 with nine complete games and a 3.00 ERA, striking out 172 batters and allowing only 83 hits in 117 innings of work. He followed that with a 2.25 ERA for the Fox Cities Foxes in 1966, though he pitched only 32 innings.
