Hall of Fame Members

From BR Bullpen

(Redirected from Hall of Famer)

Hall of Fame Members are usually referred to as Hall of Famers.

While the most common way to become a member is to be voted in by the Baseball Writers Association of America during its annual vote, members can also be elected by the Committee on Baseball Veterans or a special committee such as the Centennial Commission or the Special Committee on the Negro Leagues. The BBWAA vote is limited to players, but the other committee have voted in managers, umpires, executives and pioneers.

Through 2025, 348 people have been elected to the Hall of Fame including 275 players, 24 managers, 10 umpires, and 37 pioneers and executives.
