Among the career stops for Larry MacPhail:

MacPhail is best remembered for having lights installed at Crosley Field in 1935. The Reds were also the first team to fly to games. His son, Lee, was a Hall of Fame executive and American League president. They are the only father-son combination in the Hall.

Other MacPhails have also made an impact in sports. His son Bill MacPhail was president of CBS Sports and CNN Sports for 40 years. Lee's son, Andy built a World Series winner in Minnesota.
