2004 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 2004 National Baseball Congress World Series, which was the 70th edition of the tournament, was won by the Aloha Knights. 46 teams from 19 different states took part in the tournament which was played at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, KS.
The Knights, of the Pacific International League, beat the Mat-Su Miners in the final to go undefeated. It would be their only NBC championship as a few years later they moved to Corvallis, OR and were renamed the Corvallis Knights.
Mat-Su first baseman Scott Simon of Northern Illinois University was named tournament MVP.
