The 1960 National Baseball Congress World Series tournament, played at Lawrence Stadium in Wichita, KS, was won by the Grand Rapids Sullivans. The Sullivans won their first NBC championship as they beat the Ponchatoula Athletics 8-6 in the title game. Both teams were making their first appearance in the NBC final. It was the third straight year this had happened.
