1962 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1962 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by hometown team the Rapid Transit Dreamliners as they beat the Alaska Goldpanners in the title game 7-6. Both teams were making their first appearance in the NBC championship final. The Dreamliners became the second team from Wichita, KS to win tournament.
Tournament MVP was Rapid Transit third baseman Rocky Krsnich, who had played for the Chicago White Sox in 1953.
