2008 National Baseball Congress World Series

The 2008 National Baseball Congress World Series was played in Wichita, KS at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium during August 2008. 42 teams from 14 different states competed at the tournament which uses the double-elimination format.

The Santa Barbara Foresters of the California Collegiate League won their second NBC championship with a 2-0 win over the Seattle Studs. The Foresters went unbeaten in the competition.

Santa Barbara outfielder Kevin Keyes of the University of Texas was named World Series MVP.
