1981 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1981 National Baseball Congress World Series was played at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, KS. The NBC crowned a new champion as the Clarinda A's beat their Jayhawk League rivals the Liberal BeeJays 8-7 to go unbeaten in the tournament. Clarinda became the first NBC champions from Iowa. Liberal were appearing in their third consecutive NBC final.
MVP of the tournament was Clarinda third baseman Keith Mucha of Los Angeles Valley Junior College.
