1986 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1986 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by the Anchorage Glacier Pilots of the Alaska Baseball League. It was the third NBC championship for the Pilots as they beat the Grand Rapids Sullivans 11-8 in the final.
Pilots manager Steve McFarland led Santa Maria to the 1982 NBC title.
MVP of the series was Anchorage outfielder Steve Bates of Fresno State University.
The tournament was played at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, KS.
