1959 National Baseball Congress World Series

The 1959 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by Houston FedMart. They beat the Elgin Athletics of Illinois 4-3 in 10 innings to go undefeated at the Wichita, KS tournament. It was Houston's first (and only) NBC title.

Catcher Clyde Girrens of Wichita Weller was named MVP of the tournament. His team lost to eventual winners Houston in the quarter finals. Girrens was a former Brooklyn Dodgers minor leaguer.
