1974 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1974 National Baseball Congress World Series was the 40th in the history of the Wichita, KS tournament. The Alaska Goldpanners won the championship for the third year running, beating the Boulder Collegians 7-5 in the final. The Goldpanners are the first team to win three-straight NBC titles since Fort Wayne won four in a row 1947-50.
Alaska outfielder Steve Kemp of the University of Southern California won the tournament MVP award.
