1965 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1965 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by the hometown Rapid Transit Dreamliners. The Dreamliners won their third NBC title in four years as they beat Kansas rivals Liberal BeeJays 11-6 in the final. This was the first NBC final to involve two teams from the same state.
Former major leaguer Bob Boyd, who played first base for Rapid Transit, was named tournament MVP.
