1999 National Baseball Congress World Series

The 1999 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by the Dallas Phillies of the Dallas Amateur Baseball Association. The Phillies, a mix of college players and ex pros, won their only NBC championship by beating the Peninsula Oilers in the final 5-4.

MVP was Dallas outfielder Marco Cunningham of Texas Tech.

34 teams from 17 different states competed at the tournament played at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, KS. It was the final NBC World Series to use aluminum bats.
