1973 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1973 National Baseball Congress World Series championship was won by the Alaska Goldpanners. The Goldpanners successfully defended the title they won the previous year as they beat the Liberal BeeJays 10-6 in the final. They became only the sixth team in the 39 year history of the NBC tournament to win back-to-back titles.
Alaska outfielder Lee Iorg of Brigham Young University was named tournament MVP.
The NBC World Series is played in August at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, KS every year.
