1997 National Baseball Congress World Series

The 1997 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by the Mat-Su Miners of the Alaska Baseball League as they beat the Nevada Griffons of the Jayhawk League 10-9 in 10 innings. It was the Miners second NBC championship.

Nevada outfielder Jeff Juarez of the University of Texas at San Antonio was named MVP of the tournament.

32 teams from 16 different states took part in the double-elimination tournament played at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, KS.
