1985 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1985 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by the Liberal BeeJays. It was the third time they had won the NBC title. The BeeJays beat the North Pole Nicks of the Alaska Baseball League 6-2 in the championship game. Liberal were appearing in their second consecutive NBC final, having lost the previous year to Grand Rapids.
MVP of the tournament was Liberal outfielder Kerry Richardson of Lubbock Christian University.
The National Baseball Congress World Series is played every August at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, KS.
