1957 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1957 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by the Plymouth Oilers as they beat defending champions Fort Wayne Allen Dairy 6-4 in the final. It was the second NBC national championship for the Oilers, who also triumphed in 1951. This was the sixth appearance in the final by Fort Wayne and the first time they had lost.
Fort Wayne third baseman Wilmer Fields, a former negro leaguer, was named the tournament MVP.
The National Baseball Congress World Series is played annually at Lawrence Stadium in Wichita, KS.
