1964 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1964 National Baseball Congress World Series was the 30th edition of the Wichita, KS tournament. Hometown team Wichita Service Auto Glass won their first (and only) NBC title by beating the Alaska Goldpanners 6-1 in the championship game.
Wichita outfielder Dick Sanders, who also doubled as their manager, was named tournament MVP. Sanders was a former Yankees and Dodgers minor leaguer.
