2003 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 2003 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by a foreign team for the first time in it's 69 year history as the Taiwan national team shutout the Santa Barbara Foresters of the California Collegiate League 5-0 to win the championship.
44 teams from 16 different states participated in the series played at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, KS.
Taiwan pitcher Chang-Wei Tu was named MVP of the tournament.
