1938 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1938 National Baseball Congress World Series saw the same two teams make the final as the previous year. It was third time lucky for the Bona Allen Shoemakers as they beat the Eason Oilers 5-4 in the title game to win their first national semipro championship. They had lost to the Oilers last year.
Shoemakers first baseman Andy Johnson, a former minor leaguer, was named tournament MVP.
The National Semipro Tournament is played at Lawrence Stadium in Wichita, KS.
