Bona Allen Shoemakers
The Bona Allen Shoemakers (1933-1941) were a semipro baseball team from Buford, GA and sponsored by the Bona Allen Shoe Company.
They appeared in three straight National Semipro Tournament finals; 1936-1938, losing the first two before finally winning the third. In all three finals the Shoemakers played teams from Oklahoma that were backed by oil companies. First baseman Andy Johnson was named MVP of the 1938 tournament.
Former Detroit Tigers outfielder Ned Harris played for the Shoemakers in 1937. Rube Melton played with them in 1939.

- 1936, lost to the Halliburton Cementers 4-1
- 1937, lost to the Eason Oilers 7-4
- 1938, beat Eason Oilers 5-4
