1980 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1980 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by the Alaska Goldpanners. It was the fifth time the Goldpanners had won the tournament. The 'Panners beat defending champion Liberal BeeJays 8-4 in the final.
Alaska outfielder Kevin McReynolds of the University of Arkansas was named MVP.
The NBC World Series is played in Wichita, KS every August.
