1968 National Baseball Congress World Series
The 1968 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by the Liberal BeeJays. The BeeJays won their first NBC title with a 2-0 win against the Jackson Braves of Mississippi. It was the ninth time a team from Kansas had won the tournament.
Jackson infielder Joe Tanner, a former minor leaguer with the Red Sox and Dodgers, was named MVP.
The NBC World Series is played each August in Wichita, KS.
