1996 National Baseball Congress World Series

The 1996 National Baseball Congress World Series was won by the El Dorado Broncos as they beat the Tacoma Timbers of the Pacific International League in the final, 6-2.

The Broncos were playing their first season in El Dorado, KS since moving from Wichita, KS. As the Wichita Broncos they had won the tournament twice back in 1989 and 1990.

El Dorado third baseman Kevin Frederick of Creighton University was named tournament MVP.

40 teams from 17 different states took part in the World Series that was played at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita, KS.
