Team History[edit]

The Seattle Studs play in the Pacific International League. They play their home games at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. Founded in 1954 by Ben Cheney of the Cheney Lumber Company in Tacoma, the Seattle Studs are one of the oldest amateur baseball teams in the country. The club has been very successful in recent years, winning the National Baseball Congress World Series three times. Over 100 players have gone on to major league baseball.

Barry Aden is in his second tenure as Studs manager. His first stint lasted from 1990 - 1993 when he left to manage the Tacoma Timbers. He returned in 2001 and has been manager ever since.
