Jayhawk League
The Jayhawk League was a Summer Collegiate Baseball league that debuted in 1976. It was a member of the National Baseball Congress and it's teams won the NBC World Series ten times.
After the 2018 season ended four teams, the Derby Twins, Haysville Aviators, Great Bend Bat Cats and El Dorado Broncos all left for the Sunflower Collegiate League. All four teams citing financial reasons for leaving. The Jayhawk League failed to find replacements for those teams who left and shortly afterwards the three remaining teams, Hays Larks, Liberal BeeJays and Dodge City A's decided to join the Kansas Collegiate League Baseball meaning the end of the Jayhawk League.
