Atlanta, GA

Atlanta is the state capital and largest city in Georgia, located in the center of the state. During the Civil War, it withstood a long siege and was eventually burned down in November 1864 by General William Tecumseh Sherman. Atlanta hosted the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
